
BACOLAW FOR 2025 IBA ICC MOOT COURT COMPETITION 12TH EDITION
Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW), Crescent University, Abeokuta, will be participating in the oral arguments of the 12th Edition of the International Bar Association International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition organised by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Universiteit Leiden at The Hague, Netherlands from 11 June – 18 June 2025. The team that is representing BACOLAW submitted their qualifying memorials for the competition in March 2025.
BACOLAW Team is made up of Qadeerah Ibrahim, Sururah Atilola Olaniyan, Iyiola Justus Adeyemi, and Mohammed Gazal Ifeoluwa Abudu. The team will be accompanied by Mujeeb Ademola Imran, a senior lecturer in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, as Team Coach.
The final of the competition takes place in the International Criminal Court at The Hague with three serving judges of the court sitting.
BACOLAW Dean of Law, Professor Momodu Kassim-Momodu is a veteran judge of the IBA ICC Moot Court.
While in The Hague, the team will visit the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ), both located in Peace Palace, The Hague. The team will also visit the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.
