| Professor Renáta Uitz, Professor of Law and Government in Royal Holloway, University of London, has joined the Editorial Board of Crescent University Law Journal with effect from 12 May 2025. Previously, Professor Uitz taught Comparative Constitutional Law at Central European University, Budapest, and Vienna (September 2001 – August 2023), and served as the Co-Director of the newly established CEU Democracy Institute (February 2022 – August 2023). Her major research interests lie in public law and comparative constitutional law, in transition to and from constitutional democracy, the protection of individual autonomy and religious liberty. Her current work focuses on illiberal constitutional practices and the normalization of illiberal constitutionalism around the world. Professor Renáta Uitz joins Professor Dogan Ali Gultutan of the Faculty of Law, City University, London as the second European member of Crescent University Law Journal Editorial Board. |
