Crescent University Team to IBA ICCMCC 2025 presents report to Vice Chancellor

Crescent University, Abeokuta’s team to the International Bar Association/International Criminal Court Moot competition visited the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibrahim Gbajabiamila to present the report of the competition held between 11th and 18th June 2025 in The Hague, Netherlands. The delegation, which was the only team from Nigeria and one of the three from Africa comprises of Miss Sururah Atilola Olaniya, Miss Qadeerah Ibrahim, Mr. Mohammedgazaal Abudu and Mr. Justus Adeyemi. Also present at the brief ceremony were the University Registrar, Mr. Z. A. Ajibola Esq, The Dean of Law, Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu  and team coach, Mr. Mujeeb Imran Esq.

While receiving the report, the Vice Chancellor commended the team for being worthy ambassadors of the University and for their performance at the competition.

He recalled that the Bola Ajibola College of Law is renowned for the performance of its students in local and international competitions, haven performed creditably at the International Chamber of Commerce VIS Moot, Paris in 2024 among numerous other national competitions. He expressed joy in the fact that the students of the university are associated with international organisations of repute such as the International Bar Association Grotious Centre for International Legal Studies, the International Criminal Court and visited the International Court of Justice at The Hague while still students of the University, a feat that many people do not get to accomplish until much later in their careers.
