Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu Presenting the prizes for Best Students

Bola Ajibola College of Law, Crescent
University, Abeokuta has continued to soar in academic excellence. Over the years since its inception, the College has grown from its modest beginning to
become the cynosure of all eyes by the dint of its hardworking personnel under the exemplary leadership of Dean of the College, Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu.

As one of the veritable grooming grounds for future legal practitioners, the College has been able to inculcate the virtue of excellence into its students, and this has become the driving force behind the success story of the students over the years. Nothing demonstrates this knack for excellence than the prominence the College enjoyed during the combined 12th and 13th Convocation Ceremonies of the university, held on the 16th October, 2021, for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic sessions.

In the 2019/2020 session, the College graduated forty-five students. Six students bagged First Class Honours, twenty-two students graduated with Second Class Honours, Upper Division, thirteen students graduated with Second Class Honours, Lower Division, four students graduated with Third Class Honours, while Miss Ayomide Adesewa Abiodun emerged as the Best Graduating Law Student.

The saying that what is worth doing is worth doing well continues to reverberate through the 2020/2021 academic session. The College produced a total of forty-eight students as graduates in the session. Five students bagged the prestigious First-Class Honours, while Mr. Nafiu Ayinla Adebiyi emerged as the Best Graduating Law Student. A total number of twenty-six students graduated with Second Class Honours, Upper Division. Sixteen students graduated with Second Class Honours, Lower Division, and one student graduated with Third Class Honours. Mr. Bashir Atanda Adegbite, emerged the Best-Behaved University Male Student, an honour that further cements the image of the College of Law as not just a place of academic excellence, but also of moral excellence as well.

That is hardly all, outstanding students scooped various coveted awards and prizes, having emerged best students in some of the courses offered by the College. Of note are the Justice Mashud Akinfemi

Akintude Abbas Prize for Best Graduating Student, and Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu Prize for best student in Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, both
won by Mr. Nafiu Ayinla Adebiyi; and the Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu Prize for best student in Alternative Dispute Resolution which went to Miss Pere-ere Victor Okubonanabo.

In all, the Bola Ajibola College of Law of Crescent University continues to leave its positive imprints on the sands of time.
